Handz On Art is celebrating 25 years! Here’s to you and your cherished memories in this space.
The first time I went to Handz on Art was with my husband, Ben, when we painted our beer mugs for the Right Brain mug club. We had such a great time and I never would’ve guessed then that I would get to know Julie and come to admire her so much. Getting to work down the hall from Julie over at Rough Pony is a treat. She’s one of our most loyal regulars and she always puts a smile on my face when she walks in the door. I love visiting her whether it’s to paint something or just to drop off her signature drink. Handz on Art is so cozy and inviting, I’m so grateful for Julie and her space that allows people to create things together. – Maddie
I came here with my daughter to celebrate my birthday…it was a wonderful time being together as daughter and momma making forever memories together. We made a legacy plate together and she assisted in painting a mug for me as that’s what she wanted to do for my birthday. My daughter passed away from a rare brain tumor on February 20th of this year. This will be a special memory I’ll forever cherish in my heart and the pieces we painted together. – Sara J.

When my sister Julie first started HOA, I can clearly remember just how proud and excited our parents were ….almost giddy. Dad thought it was so cool that his daughter owned this awesome business. He would love to come there and calmly sit and paint his masterpieces in his slow, meticulous way. And it was truly a blessing that Mom could enjoy HOA for nearly all 25 years. She LOVED coming to paint and help Julie out in any way she could …she was an A1 paint-filler. I have no doubt that both Mom and Dad are beaming with pride from above and marveling at all their little girl has accomplished. – Kathy C.
Birthday parties were always requested for HOA! My kids are now grown & now I bring my grandkids. I love love love my Julie, thankful to be her friend & work neighbor. We have been through so much together…we are the survivors! Together forever -Tracey L
I started going to Handz On Art when I have in elementary school. So 2000-2006, mostly because of the Girl Scout troop I was in. Then went to many birthday parties there. I still have the first ornament I made. I have been there a handful of times since. And hope to go more and bring my future kids to enjoy the experience.
